Was used in 2012 as a HB/Mid and wont get passed Parker in the starting 22 but will also have to fight off Cunners and Mitchell. If he does play with out getting the vest, then he is capable of getting mid 70s in DT and SC, and usally will get most of the points by HT. But is biggest concern is his JS.

Kicked 29 goals for the year which will boast his prospects for DPP, but wont be inline for selection in any DT or SC fantasy teams next year. Standard deviation of 60 which hurts coaches and only a depth player in XV leagues.

Tabs says: In the best 22 but is this his last year with the club. There is talk of him getting DPP as a MID/FWD but "How many games will he play this year?" being the one question that everyone is asking. I think he is too expensive to start in fantasy teams this year but could be a good upgrade target when his price comes down as long as he plays every game. Will score alot better in SC than DT but will be a good starting player in XV teams as long as his body holds up. Beware though, he could be asked to sit on a player and only produce a score of 50+.

Tabs says: A hip injury in early 2012 meant that Alex Johnson jumped over him in the depth chart and now Alex Johnson is well ahead of him. I expect Brown to play in the NAB cup in 2013 but dont expect him to play in the season proper. Will only play if multiple players go down with injury/suspenssion as Everitt and LRT will play as a back before Brown. Still only 19 so has time on his side but not fantasy relevant in any comp, but if he does play dont expect him to score well as he will be minding a forward.

Tabs says: With the injury to Bolton, now is the time for Cunners to shine. Was elevated to the seniors list in the national draft, but only played one game in 2012 in which he wore the green vest. I expect him to play most of the NAB cup games and will be fighting Mitchell for Bolton's postion, although either player would start with the vest. Will be a player of the future for the Swans, but not this year.

Tabs says: 5 out of the 12 games Everitt played in 2012 he wore the green vest which brought his average down, but wasnt required for the end of the season. Everitt looks to me as the replacement for LRT, a tall utility that can be a tall target up front or hold a player down back. He's not in the best 22 but i could see him break into the team if a tall was in doubt. Many fans were questioning his inclusion in the team until he kicked the winning goal agaqinst the Cats in round 13, when we jumped on his bandwagon.

Tabs says: After a slow start and then missing Round 4 due to suspenssion, Goodes was looking Goode against the Crows until his hammy went in the 4th quarter. From there Goodes DT and SC scores werent the same. With a strong pre-season we could see Goodes back to his best next year, but the "Rule of Thumb" with Goodes is that he starts the season slowly and then brings it home, score wise. Hopefully he has been resting so his hammys are fine and ready to go so he can have a full preseason. If he start DT @ $423,900 against GWS and GC then you will have to start him if you are keen but less so in SC.

Tabs says: Grundy is in the best 22 and usually take the 2nd tall in the opposition forward line. If the 2nd tall isnt a worry then Grundy will play a sweeper roll and Alex Johnson will take the 2nd tall. Definitely startable in XV leagues but not in DT or SC as his price is to expensive for his average fantasy output.

Tabs says: Still only 22 and will be in the engine room for the Swans for years to come if his shoulders can together. A green vest in round 2 and a concussion in round 11 which resulted in a red vest hurt his average along with Stevie J using him as snipper practice against the cats. Easily in the best 22 as a tough inside mid but consistency is an issue (scored 44 & 102 against GWS in DT and 34 and 94 in SC). A certain starter in XV league comps but not in DT or SC as his price is too high. He may drop in price and could be a smokie as an upgrade target.

Tabs says: Had an absolute gun year with 14 SC scores above 100 with 5 of them 140+. Apart form the GWS game he started the year slowly with only 1 more 100+ point games in his first 7 games. I think he will do the same next year although with GWS and GC the first 2 games it would be hard not to select him in your SC team at the start. Could be a good premium in your mids with a round 12 bye, not too many around.

Tabs says: Started 2012 like a house on fire but then lost his mojo after the bye (except for the GWS game). It looked like he ran out of breath for the second half of the season and although he played every game, he was less effective on the scoreboard. Dont get me wrong though, this guy is a gun and if he gets DPP next year I expect him to be in alot of fantasy teams (SC and XV especially). He was clearly not 100% in the last couple of months of the season, but with some time off to recoup, he will be back fitter than ever kicking goals for the Red and the White!!

Tabs says: AJ was fighting with Alex Brown to see who would get the last spot in the Swans defence. A strong year in 2011 and with a hip injury that placed Brownie on the LTI list help AJ cement his spot. He has taken his chance with both hands and run with it. He is now a long way ahead of Brownie and should be in the Swans line up for years to come. As far as fantasy relevance goes he is a no for SC and DT leagues and should only be considered for XV leagues during the bye rounds. This is due to the fact that he will play a lock down role and doesn’t have the freedom of a Richards or Grundy to roam and his price is way too high.

Tabs says: Move over Patrick Dempsey there is a new McDreamy in town, JPK!!! What cant he do?? He was the winner of the "Bob Skilton" medal for the Swans best and fairest in 2012 and played pivotal roles in the qualifying and preliminary finals this year. Absolute ball magnet and unlike 2011, he has learnt to score well whilst being tagged. He is an absolute lock in all XV leagues and must be in consideration for DT and SC teams. $638k is a lot to pay for a mid in SC when it isn’t GAJ or Swan but he plays GWS and GC in his first2 games, so you know he is worth a punt. If you don’t get him at the start of the DT or SC season, then imo he must be in line as an upgrade target.
