Hopefully my guy gets a pop (or 2) over the next 4 years.  He will be the captain for all SOD, YOD, T20 and PC games (even though I prob only get through 1 round of PC each year)

Surely he will pop more than twice during that time since he will be playing 172 games (assuming knocked out of PC first round) during that time!
Or is outstanding the highest you can get for captaincy? I think I heard that somewhere...

It takes pretty much 3 full season of captaining every SOD and T20 game for a captaincy pop.

You CAN (or Could) pull a player w/ spec captaincy but they always plopped the next week or two as outs is the maximum.

Nails

So that is 112 games required to get a captaincy pop.  My player will be captaining 172 games over the next 4 seasons (plus hopefully some Nat games).  Either way I remember reading somewhere that outstanding is the max which means he only needs 1 pop to reach the max.
