Round 6 Milestone Players - 50th game

Jake Melksham (Toronto)
Club History: New York --> New Delhi --> Buenos Aires --> Toronto
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 296 (Round 17) of the initial draft selected by former New York coach Sid/AFEV

^^Melksham, a true sucker for pain

Very tempted to not select him for the rest of the season. :P

Round 7 Milestone Players - 100th game

Dustin Martin (Dublin)
Club History: Moscow --> Dublin
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 26 (Round 2) of the initial draft selected by former Moscow and current Christchurch coach meow meow

Martin started off his WXVs career at Moscow before being involved in a memorable trade to Dublin that involved Robbie Gray. Spending time both forward and centre, Martin is only now starting to realise his potential as a genuine midfield premium of the game.

Travis Boak (Buenos Aires)
Club History: Buenos Aires --> Dublin --> Rio de Janeiro --> Buenos Aires
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 100 (Round 6) of the initial draft selected by current Cairo co-coach MajorLazer

Boak, although originally picked by Cairo, was immediately traded to Buenos Aires; so it's fitting Boak brings up the ton with the club he first played at, where he has proven both a durable and quality selection.

Round 7 Milestone Players - 50th game

Brodie Grundy (Beijing)
Club History: Beijing
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 11 (Round 1) of the 2012 International draft selected by former Beijing Bears coach bomberboy0618

Robbie Tarrant (New York)
Club History: Beijing --> Rio de Janeiro --> New York
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 309 (Round 18) of the original selected by former Beijing Bears coach bomberboy0618

Sam Mayes (Beijing)
Club History: Beijing
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 14 (Round 1) of the 2012 International draft selected by former Beijing Bears coach bomberboy0618

Tom Mitchell (Pacific)
Club History: Pacific
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 12 (Round 1) of the 2011 International draft selected by former Pacific coach c4v3m4n

A big week for Beiijing! Grundy & Mayes are one-club players that were selected just 3 spots apart. Whilst Tom Mitchell has stayed true to Pacific for all of this 50 games too! These loyalists are rare these days, so to get 3 in one week is pretty special!

Round 8 Milestone Players - 100th game

Brendon Goddard (Mexico City)
Club History: Mexico City
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 12 (Round 1) of the initial draft, selected by former premiership Mexico City coach Maca24

Our only milestone player for Round 8, but a VERY special one in Brendon Goddard.

He becomes the first player to play 100 Club Games! That's truly special, and what makes it even better is that Goddard was Mexico City's first ever player. The very first selected. A lot of romance in this one.

GoLions

A lot of romance for good ol' BJ?

Round 9 Milestone Players - 100th game

Jack Riewoldt (Dublin)
Club History: Toronto --> Rio de Janeiro --> Dublin
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 73 (Round 5) of the initial draft selected by former Toronto coach roo boys.

Riewoldt has always been around and always around quality players. But that premiership continues to elude him.

Shaun Burgoyne (Berlin)
Club History: Mexico City --> Buenos Aires --> Tokyo --> Berlin
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 194 (Round 11) of the initial draft selected by current Dublin coach Holz.

One of the oldest heads in the comp, Burgoyne has been quality for whomever he has played for, and was part of the first ever premiership winning side with Mexico City in 2012.

Round 9 Milestone Players - 50th game

Jarryn Geary
Club History: New Delhi --> Seoul --> Berlin --> Cape Town --> Mexico City
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 564 (Round 32) of the initial draft selected by former New Delhi coach FisherSaints.

Michael Hurley
Club History: London --> Dublin --> Pacific
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 10 (Round 1) of the inital draft selected by former London coach Cookie Monster.

^^ the last of the Super-18* to reach 50 games.

*still playing

Trav <3

2 clear stand out spud picks.

Travis Cloke and Andrew Swallow.

Hurley we all laughed at, at the time but probably turned out better then these 2.

meow meow

44 and 50 game returns from a first round pick is pretty spudworthy too.

yeah judd didnt turn out too great.

Cloke really only had 1 good year 2013.

Swan at least pumped out 126 118 in his first 2 years.

Swallow put up 109 in year 1 then dropped every year.

Daisy one of the worst picks 96 from a mid then he never went above 80. however he got me Selwood so a huge success for me.

Round 10 Milestone Players - 100th game

Callan Ward (Beijing)
Club History: Dublin --> Moscow --> Beijing
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 120 (Round 7) of the initial draft selected by former Mexico City premiership coach Maca24

Joel Selwood (New York)
Club History: Cape Town --> Dublin --> New York
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 6 (Round 1) of the initial draft selected by former Cape Town coach My Chumps.

Jordan Lewis (New York)
Club History: Mexico City --> New York
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 181 (Round 11) of the initial draft selected by former Toronto coach roo boys

Justin Westhoff (Dublin)
Club History: Buenos Aires --> PNL --> Dublin
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 143 (Round 8) of the initial draft selected by former Buenos Aires coach PowerBug

Rory Sloane (Dublin)
Club History: Sao Paulo --> Dublin
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 101 (Round 6) of the initial draft selected by former New York Coach Sid/AFEV

Trent Cotchin (Mexico City)
Club History: Cape Town --> Mexico City
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 27 (Round 2) of the initial draft selected by former London coach Cookie Monster

Wow, that's a bunch of quality players. Sloane and Ward some serious bargains, with Lewis & Westhoff closely following. A lot of these players were actually traded before they played their first game i.e. Cotchin, Sloane, Lewis and Ward. What influential trades they ended up being.

Round 10 Milestone Players - 50th game

Daniel Talia (Moscow)
Club History: Pacific --> New Delhi --> Berlin --> Moscow
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 313 (Round 18) of the initial draft selected by former Mexico City premiership coach Maca24.

Haha. HAHAHAHA. Talia only became fantasy relevant last year, but clocked up a lot of games when New Delhi were struggling. Ha.
