HeraldSun have it that Lockyer is taking the coaching role over the VFL side. Good move IMO, as he has very valuable leadership abilities.

This sees him take over from Gavin Brown who defected to the Blues.

DazBurg

good to hear for him
reckon he should go alright

Extremely quick move but having played this season with them, will connect with the VFL squad well. Hopefully can make a good start and get into AFL assistant coaching in the near future.

Boomz

I think he'll go well... Knows the team well.

Great to see he moves on quickly. Should turn out to be a good coach.

He does appear to have a brain which should help although the VFL side will indeed need a good coach with the loss of significant experience in Fraser, Medhurst, O'Bree, Rusling and of course Lockyer.

Maca24

well done to him. should be player/coach but he wont.
think he could still be playing VFL for a bit.

I agree Maca but it doesn't happen much these days.

bunyip

I always thought he had funny eye brows.
