ok for you newbies to epl dt... i will help.... to make it a bit more competitive..

you start of with 100,000,000 pounds...

players are in millions... the lowest price is 2.8 mill..
Players NOT to touch!

Don't pick players that have just been promoted... ie West Brom, Newcastle etc etc...

don't pick too many players that are cheap.. because they are cheap for a reason...
Players to Pick!

Pick players that are:

1 in form
2 in a successful club ie Chelsea, Man U

In the Liverpool case pick players that will score you goals... Torress Gerrard Kuyt... dont pick defenders.... from teams like that...

Defence

If you want your team to be really strong.. then you have to do research..

look at the teams past couple of seasons and look and Conceded goals... for example.. tottenham.. although they finished 4th they had a lack of defence scoring 41 goals against them... so look for solid defence teams..

Man U last year only conceded 28 goals... so pick 1 maybe 2 of there defenders..
(SAME WITH GOALKEEPERS!!)

Midfielders
Look for attacking midfielders that will get you:

1 Goals
2 Assists
3 play more than 60 minutes
4 will not get red/yellow carded...

perfect examples are Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt, Antonio Valencia...

dont pick the players that are defencive midfielders... their the ones that give away penalties, yellow cards... and more than likely play less than 60 minutes...

also look for players that will get a penalty shot and always score..

Strikers
Look for teams that scored alot of goals... Chelsea last year scored 103 goals.. Drogba (CHELSEA) only had 6 games that he scored under 10 goals.. but then they only lost 6 games...


OVERALL

Pick players from winning teams.. that score goals and that dont really concede goals..

yes there are benches.. i reccomend you pick players that are cheap and will play... they will score half points...

I'll get involved with that, although the Fantasy Premier League game is my preferred game.  It's a lot more realistic as prices fluctuate based on demand and supply rather than possibly doubling after three weeks if a player scores a couple of goals.
