I'm in.

Do we have any nrl sc and dt experts on this site?

Welcome, I wouldn't call myself an expert as last year was the first year for me. I did come 979th in NRL DT (out of 127K) and 5163rd in NRL SC (out of 125K) with limited knowledge of the NRL teams so it isn't all that difficult. Getting the right rookies, as always, is the key, and since there isn't a NAB cup equivalent then checking the opening round lineups is all you can do.

There are some 'experts' on the official fantasy sites to get started with but last year I found this link on Whirlpool when doing some research http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1854725 so I assume that there will be a similar thread on that forum this year.

I'm keen on getting some rookie talk happening here if we can.

I'm in, created a team just now based off.....well.....half watching the game for the last few years and playing fox sports version of nrl fantasy which has now changed over to this. Very little knowledge but i don;t think this team looks terribly bad?.....Does it?

haha i dunno....all i figured was decent player....change of clubs might do him good....seemed pretty cheap to me

Not too shabby colmullet  :D

I've had Anasta in my side in the past and he was frustratingly inconsistent at the Roosters, maybe he'll do better at his new club.

Here's my team at the moment, I've decided to not spend the big bucks on Smith/Gallen and wait for them to hopefully drop in price after a few weeks. My bench is subject to change waiting for the round 1 rookie line-up announcements.

18 days until lockout! Can hardly wait to get back in to some fantasy sports  ;D

We've only got 5 out of 20 so far though  :(

I've created fanfooty leagues in NRL DT, Sportsbet, and Sportal for those who are interested, see other threads in 'Other Sports'.

It's starting to get a bit hectic! I've got 5 salary cap teams to sort out by Thursday and 1 auto-draft team which is drafting tonight.

A bit disappointed some of my rookie choices aren't lining up but probably only because I have to choose new ones  ::)

No worries mate. Good luck.

I'm off to a pretty poor start. I have got 4 roosters/souths starters and 3 of them were very ordinary (fantasy scoring wise). I have got Inglis as captain, which turned out ok, but it would have been nice if he got one of those Merritt tries.

I also jumped off Sonny Bill when he got named on the interchange but he was the highest Roosters scorer and 4th highest in the game so I think that I'll be jumping back on his band wagon!

We only managed to get 7/20 coaches for the league. From memory the leagues will be filled out during the round so we'll get 13 random coaches added to the league at some point (or we'll be added to someone else's league).

Leagues don't start till round 4 i believe but yeah if we don't fill it by then they will auto-fill with others i think

how we all travelling? got players causing you headahces?

i got Tariq Sims n really not sure what to do with him, when he comes back in he should score fairly well but is in the seconds to get some match fitness back

Not doing too badly. A couple of players, other than my keepers, lost value this week, Paulo, Daniel Tupou, and Miller. Beale had a minimal increase but the rest are fattening up nicely.

Still looking after mine. Had some shocker rounds after a good start but the last 2 weeks have been my highest scores for the season so hopefully I'm on the comeback trail  ;D

Hey fellas.

You guys obviously know a lot about NRL Supercoach, would you be interested in writing a weekly article?

We previously just did AFL advice on our site but are moving into other sports as well, NRL is one of those.
Basically we need some experts who can give out advice.

Let me know if interested.

Cheers,
Schon

Not going too badly, 6 trades left, trading Horo to Parker this week to complete my team but have to deal with Inglis and Hayne.

Really can't afford any more injuries at this stage.

Yeah I had to dump those two aswell, apart from that tho there have been not many injuries in NRL compared to our AFL teams haha seems every week someone goes down there
