Great work NZ and I am happy to have managed to sneak back in the champions league after missing this year  :)

Highest Score...The Coach who achieves the highest individual score in that season.
2017:Vinny (2652)
2016:JROO8 (2697)
2015: PICCOLLO (2,715)
2014: LaHug (2,768)
2013: Jayman (2,658)
2012: Dudge (2,724)
2011: Honey Badger (2,762)

Bittersweet that finishing 2nd overall doesn't get me anything on the honour board... Happy that another year has passed without anyone taking over my highest ever score though :)

Hey, 3rd for Round 23, I'll take it.

This year has been an utter disaster. I'll be back.
At least the bombers made the finals AK.   Even better if we knock off Sydney this weekend.
Time to rest, recover and regroup.

Thanks for the well run comp NZ

Best first year player. Pretty stoked given several massive blunders I made this year.

Cheers mate. Glad u joined in and hope u do again next year. Well done on best first year player... there's some quality on that honour roll before you... so no doubt you're a gun  8) and everyone should pay no attention to Big Mac's year as that is anything but typical and life stuff must've impacted on his 2017 season.
2017:  LordSneeze
2016:  Gigantor
2015:  Big Mac
2014:  JROO8
2013:  Ricochet
2012:  whatlez
2011:  CFC 1979
Anyway thanks again LS...numbers were down in 2017 from the previous year and the more competition the better. Hope to see more first year players in 2018... remember all FF users are welcome to join... the only requirement is that they have reached coach status (1000 posts)...

Hope so mate, a spill over into AF and DT would be very welcome too.
Need to continue growing participation in all three formats, be nice to
get close to equal numbers they way the SC crowd support it here
which from the get go has been terrific.

Yeah, that would be great.
I do feel a bit guilty about just doing SC myself but find that enough and all consuming for me.
I did DT once, years back when Dane Swan was at the height of his powers and struggled to keep on top of it...ranked somewhere around 10k but realised that with SC, work and family commitments I should just stick to SC and keep sane.

Bottom line is you have to want to do it to even enjoy having a crack. It's not for everyone I get that,
you want people to enjoy it otherwise what's the point. Hopefully as the new players of Elxam come
through there's a spattering of people who play more than one comp fingers crossed all three.
DT Elxam was once more heavily supported than it is currently, when AF fired up a lot moved over
and didn't return. Slowly growing again but it's going to take time but only if the two comps survive in Elxam
there's a real chance they won't be around in 2018, only time will tell there also.

Thanks guys, ill definitely be back next year.

The problem I find with doing both is that they have different scoring measures. This means that the research you do on one doesn't necessarily mean you can use it on the other. To do both actively and well it takes a lot of time and effort, something that most people just don't have.

Agreed.   I find that a lack of understanding of the scoring and lockout differences and type of players reduces my enjoyment of AF and DT.   Is there  a strategy post somewhere that I can review.    If I cannot get on top of it next year i will probably on play SC going forward.
