GRAND FINAL
IMPORTANT NOTE - PLEASE READ
AFL teams will be announcing their teams at 6:20pm AEST on Thursday (Wednesday for Thursday night games)
Sunday teams are confirmed at 5pm AEST on Friday (Saturday for Monday games)
We WILL NOT be using a partial lockout, please read the rule below.
You are encouraged to name your full team at the start of the round and edit accordingly as teams drop each day. I understand this is not possible for everyone, hence why it would be preferred that people name their full team to begin with.
If you make any edits to your team, please do so in a new 'quote' post.
There is no loopholing allowed in ADT
- With Fri-Sun games back, you can name four (4) emergencies.
- In the event a coach either submits an incomplete team or fails to submit a team at all without contacting the admin, they will receive a warning/strike and their submission from last week will be used. Penalties for this can be found in the rules post (no sacking coaches because we barely have enough as is). It's finals so I hope this doesn't happen
Friday night FULL LOCKOUT at 7.50pm AEST
- Teams are to be posted in this format only
C: Player name
VC: Player name
EVC: Player name

Grand Final:
Arizona Scorpions v Los Angeles Kings
Where's Dallas? Arizona cause a big upset by defeating the #1 team in the comp on their own turf! However, as the resident #2 team for most of the season, it shouldn't be a massive surprise. Arizona's line-up is stacked with talent and they only require a few players to go big to post a big total. Los Angeles could've been contesting Arizona for second spot were it not for a brief slip up mid-season, but their list arguably packs more of a punch than Arizona does, and tends to be more consistent. Regardless, the race for top spot was thrown wide open, and it's hard to split our two remaining teams. Both are worthy recipients of the grand prize, as season 2022 comes to an end this weekend.
Good luck to Nas and Koop, may the best team win!
Good luck to both teams. Dallas be spewing going undefeated all year :P

AFTER SATURDAYAn injury to Stringer has put Arizona on the back foot, as LA hold a 130 point lead going into the last stretch! LA also still have their captain to come, with the vice captain imminent for Arizona, the players that Arizona have to come look to be superior to that of LA though, so it might be a case of LA holding on to their lead for victory! Regardless, I think this will be a tense finish, worthy of the last match of the season!

Grand Final
King Docherty Dominates Decider
Arizona Scorpions (1695) defeated by Los Angeles Kings (1725)Well well, what a final! It was a game of massive highs, and extreme lows for both sides, but the resurgent Kings have come back to snatch the win away from Arizona! Arizona were on the back foot big time with Stringer's concussion affected 13 points, but mammoth efforts from Sicily, Dunkley and Bontempelli dragged them back in the fight with a combined 386! But when the heat was on the kitchen, captain Sam Docherty was there cooking up a storm for LA, top scoring for LA with a dazzling 137 to put the Sydney contingent in a position where they were able to see off the game! It got close, but lone soldier Isaac Heeney was unable to defend Arizona's lead against the swarming Swans, who ultimately did enough to secure the win by just 30 points!
It wasn't the highest scoring, or the closest finish, but it was by far one of the games of the season, as Los Angeles become the Kings of ADT!
Congratulations to Koop, commiserations to nas, and thank you all for being apart of season 2022!
