Title: Round 7 Trades
Post by: RaisyDaisy on April 25, 2021, 09:11:43 PM
Dunkley to prem

Gulden or Chapman to prem

Love double prem weeks :D

Rookie options are looking very bleak - Fin Macrae on the bubble, or could go early on Frederick (123k def) after his very impressive game tonight, but I would think it's best to wait a week

For anyone who has copped the Dunkley, Dusty, Neale triple - that's brutal :(

So it's a toss up between Zorko, Sidebottom & Marshall, not sure...............

Sidebottom. Zorko is now first to cop a tag with Neale out. Marshall I want a week with Ryder in the side.

I'm grabbing Walsh or Oliver personally. Leaning towards Walsh.

I'm not sure to do with trade 2 but Chapman to Houston the week after is locked

With Marshall having a monster BE I think I'll wait on that.

As for the Zorko attention, we've got Port, Freo, Suns & Richmond. Not huge alarm bells with taggers.

Sidebottom does have a few nice games coming up but there's always the chance he goes forward again, less so with Zorko, in fact his midfield minutes probably go up.

Two words, Touk Miller

Grab Zorko a couple weeks after the Suns game. He'll be ripe

I'm tempted to grab Walsh and Boak, which would give me a midfield of Macrae, Steele, Oliver, Bont, Walsh, Boak, Powell, Jordon and that looks pretty damn sweet

But, I'd have Rowe/Macrae at F6 and Kosi/Chapman at D5/6

Need to decide if I just load up the midfield like that and cop those few crap rookie scores, or look at getting Zorko/Sidey and Rich/Bowes instead to get the dud fwd/def rookies off field, but then I'd have 2 of Gulden/Macrae/Scott on field in the mids

Hmmmm

Mills also coming into my thinking, 110 average looks pretty set based on the 6 games. Love Rich, always have & awesome to see him Supercoach relevant again.

Mills and Ryan are clear no's for me, just because of their bye

Rich, Houston and possibly Bowes are just as good, but their bye gets them the nod

I'm not convinced on Sidey yet, and Zorko might be a watch and wait over the next couple of weeks with no Neale and Touk coming

Marshall is the guy I am looking at if I get a forward this week. Not worried about Ryder returning as he's already shown he scores well with him in the side, and Marshall is someone I'm going to want for the DPP cover too

Rich + Marshall, 2 prem mids, or 1 mid + 1 of Marshall/Rich are the combo's I'll be looking at

Dunks and Neale (and Dusty :'() to not sure yet?
MacRae, Walsh, Boak, Fyfe all possible at this stage.

I have all 3, Dunkley, Neale and Dusty.

Is Petracca a viable option?

I am thinking Macrae and of Walsh or Petracca.
I already have Oliver so don’t know if that’s too many demons players, along with Jordon.

Steele, Fyfe and Boak are also other options.

Still carrying Campbell and Rowe.
And I’m stuck with Daniel and B Smith.

This year has been utter chaos!

Don’t know where to begin

Just did the sums on Marshall, won't drop much at all, think I might jump on given his DPP, makes culling Flynn stress free.

As for Sidey vs Zorko, think I'll go for Zorko at this stage, just not confident on the role for Sidey, tumultuous time & we could see a coached sacked if things continue the way the are.

Gulden > Gutherie

Dunkley > Hind

$250k to help go Chapman > Ridley in 2 weeks.

Thoughts?

At this stage looking at Dunkley to Marshall and Neale to Petracca/Brayshaw. Brayshaw tempting to save the extra $100K.

Think I'll wait another week or two before grabbing Marshall - will grab him when I look to cash out Flynn and Warner

Dunkley and Gulden to Guthrie and Walsh

Don't understand the Hind pick at all. Why would you spend over 400k on someone who clearly won't be a keeper?

Can do Zorko & Boak as well. Might need to sleep on this one & wait for the team sheets. Boak probably a better meat & potatoes player than Titch at this stage.

I held Ridley and will if under 3 more. Too many trades used. Assuming Dunkley is long term.

Dunkley to Marshall or Farrar

Gulden or Campbell to Macrae  OR  Guthrie / Walsh / Petracca.

NEXT WEEK

Flynn to Thilthorpe if he backs it up

Dunkley and Gulden to Brayshaw and Finlay Macrae
F5-8 looks sickly though with Rowe, Macrae, Waterman and Treacy

Maybe...

Out: Gulden, Clark

In: Farrar/Atu, Boak

Rowe or need to go next week though if I do this

Not keen on Finlay Macrae at all honestly...

First bit of luck so far this year, don't have Dunkley, DMartin or Neale.

Looking at going Gulden/Rowe to May/FMacrae via DPP.

Hit the Trifecta; Neale, Dunkley and Dusty.
Dunk and Neale first to go this week.
Tossing up any combo of the following:
Walsh
Guthrie
Boak
Lyons
Bont
Initial thoughts were prob Walsh and Boak.
Guthrie and Lyons both low ownership.
Bont can go super large for Captain scores.

I got the trifecta as well and still have Josh Kelly to contend with. So my trades are fairly basic and predictable.
OUT   Dunkley and Neale   IN   Macrae and R Marshall

:(

Not many forwards to choose from I guess.

Am thinking now Dunkley > Heppell via Scott and Berry > Robertson.

Swing Robertson up forward via Dusty so I can put Rowe at F7.

Heppell becomes my M5.

Still have Gulden at M6 with Powell and Jordan at M7 and M8.

$550k in the kitty to go Chapman > Ridley or May next week.

Team would be -

Lloyd, Stewart, Laird, Short, Kosi, Highmore (Chapman, Jones)

Steele, Macrae, Oliver, Walsh, Heppell, Gulden, Powell, Jordan (Macrae, Dusty, Oea)

Gawn, Grundy (Flynn)

Ziebell, Impey, Warner, Robertson, Scott, Bergman (Rowe, Waterman)

What about that RD?

Don't mind the Heppell pick, reckon he's a good solution in a year bereft of good rookies. Dev a solid selection too.

Going Neale and Cox for Brayshaw and Zorko

I decided to leave my fwd line to a wait and see.

Trading out Neale and Dusty to Brayshaw and Jack Macrea, which will leave me with

5 pemos in the Back
Stewart, Ridley, Laird, Short and Daniel

6 premos in the Mids
Macrea, Bont, Oliver, Merrett, Mitchell, Brayshaw,

2 premo Rucks
Gawn and Grundy

Fwds with work to do,
Just JZ and Impey

Looking at trading out Cox,Gulden, Flynn and Warner next

I was looking at similar and then with Dusty only looking like missing one or two weeks decided to keep and save a trade.  Dusty no doubt will still be in the Top 10 forwards so worth not trading.

I am looking at these options

Waiting for team announcements and if any rookies over $200k not named trade down to Fin Macrae although he will be a slow burn and then Neale to to Jack Macrae.

If all named then only the one trade Neale to a mid or m/f I can afford plenty to pick from Lyons, Zorko, McCluggage, Boak, Bont, Fyfe, Miller or Treloar

Dunkley has to go, but not sure who to, Zorko, Sidebottom, Marshall and Greene are the options.  Other trade will most likely be Gulden to Fyfe I think.

If I had the extra dough I would also go this way, 160 last time Petracca met the Kangas.

Brayshaw and Zorko my first thoughts as well.    Now considering Farrar up forward for Dunks and Gulden/Clark for Brayshaw.   Grab Zorko next week.   Still working out where the cash gen for the couple of weeks is going to come from and think Farrar is the most likely rookie to have JS and generate cash of this weeks options.    Macrae smacks of Brockman, Berry, Rowe etc unless "he who cannot be named" plays him around the ball and I don't see Collingwood doing that.

Keen to keep Clark for D/M link and pray Scott gives the kid regular time in the back half.  If he doesn't get a guernsey this week he can go next week when I bring in Zorko.    Makes my rookies on field risky up front wiht Zeibell, Impey, Daniher, Warner, Robertson, Farrar - Treacy/Rowe.   Will just have to loophole Rowe/Farrar/Robertson most weeks.   Sort of hoping Treacy doesn't get games as I just want him for Marshall link when I upgrade Flynn in a couple of weeks.  Prefer the loophole role better than the playing role.

Was originally going a forward and midfielder to replace Neale and Dunkley. Not keen on many of the forwards though. Already have Ziebell, Tex and Impey with Marshall, Dusty and Heeney to be cheaper soon.

Going to boost the midfield instead with Petracca and Brayshaw I think.

Dunkley to Macrae already done.
Neale to Walsh v Guthrie v Fyfe v anyone else. Already got Oliver, Merrett, and Taranto.
Want best possible.
I think Fyfe is the best choice, also most likely to miss games.
Can Guthrie keep going?
Head says Walsh, just not sure.
