2014 NFL FF Thread - No league - Talk Draft Strategy

I thought I would get this started early just so we are a bit more organised with numbers this year. We had a couple of leagues running on FF last year but struggled for numbers in one in particular. Anyone who is interested this year in joining put your name down in the thread and we can make a list. It will be a live draft, so it should not take more then an hour and a half. I am thinking the draft should take place in the gap between the last pre-season game and the Ravens/Broncos game on the 6th of September. That way we should all have a good idea of who wins the positional battles and to avoid any pre-season injuries or holdouts that go into the season.

My idea is to have one 10 or 12 man league (numbers pending), but if we have enough numbers, maybe we could run 2 10 man leagues. We could then attempt to run these yearly with relegation from one league to the other. Personally I would not run any less then 10 in a league as the teams generally become stacked and it takes away the ability to find late round gems. All of that can be sorted out at a later date when we have the numbers

Excellent, I will add you and your mate to the list. We have done a few of them in the last couple of years. I think we will be using either ESPN or Yahoo but most likely ESPN. We can decide later on as everything will be open to discussion.
