Power wise, I think Cain has the edge as far as hits go. JDS is no slouch for sure, but I think Cain has him edged out on just about everything by small margins nonetheless. It could go either way but my money would be on Cain.
Hope so, I like Cain a lot.

UFC 136 - Edgar v Maynard III heads up!!
This Sun, 9 October 2011 from 12pm AEDST

I missed the earlier title fight from 2 Jan 2011 (our time) and was a corker from all reports/highlights - Maynard almost put Edgar out in the first round but the champion fought back and almost took the decision. Fittingly, that Edgar v Maynard II ended in split draw so will be interesting to see what happens this time around ...

Main card:

Lightweight Championship bout:  Frankie Edgar (c) vs.  Gray Maynard
Featherweight Championship bout:  José Aldo (c) vs.  Kenny Florian
Middleweight bout:  Chael Sonnen vs.  Brian Stann
Lightweight bout:  Joe Lauzon vs.  Melvin Guillard
Featherweight bout:  Leonard Garcia vs.  Nam Phan
(source: wikipedia.org)

Top four fights should be crackers ...

(great for those like me who are too tight to pony up for the pay-per-view, not so hot for those under-age)

Indeed, main card looks solid. Garcia beat Pham last time although many though Pham won that fight clearly, so a rematch was made. Should still be a good fight ;).

I won't be able to read the play by plays on Sunday as have a party :(.

Why did Jones get suspended?

Calf injury.  He can still come back early if it heals before then  (that's my understanding)

Maca24

How do you get suspended for being injured?  ???

So they don't fight and make it worse. It's basically for medical reasons. They have 120 days to rest and get their injury sorted before they can fight again. They can still train though.

yeah like HP said, virtually every fighter will receive a 60 day medical suspension after fighting, im fairly certain thats the minimum...

DANG IT!!!!!!! Can't watch it as my TV doesn't pick it up anymore (no more antenna and can't watch TV at night because of Nan) and other TV doesn't have it -_-.

TUF also is on but missed the start so will watch it tommorrow (I love Foxtel :D).

Maca24

I already seen that season  ;)

OMFG!! That headkick by Johnson was unreal. Brenneman got robbed though, no way he was knocked out.
It's fair to say Johnson would have TKO'd him if there wasn't a stoppage.
