Lawson Humphries has come into the Geelong seniors as the club is on the cusp of dropping off the cliff, albeit they are still in top four contention. Then again, so were Hawthorn in the two seasons following their threepeat not that long ago, only to go out in straight sets in both finals series. With Mitch Duncan on his last legs, Zach Tuohy with one foot in the footy grave and Max Holmes needed in midfield, there is ample opportunity for Humphries to cement a spot on a half back flank for the hooped affair, and so far he has grasped it with both hands. He should be in plans for 2025 fantasy.
