Recently in the first week of the NAB Cup, Hogan finished with 16 possessions, 4 marks and 2 tackles for 66 Dream Team points across the 2 mini games. It seems likely that playing in this position, he may find himself quite a bit off the ball, as Ling did as well, averaging in the 90s. Hogan battled depression in 2011 and had issues performing at his best. After last year, he believes he has more perspective and has had a faultless pre-season in which he is the fittest he has ever been. Hogan is hoping to find a spot in the Cats Best 22.
