NEWS: Naitanui has been questioned for his average of only 3 marks per game. Richmond great Matthew Richardson, speaking on The Whiteboard said "It's actually not a huge strength in his game. Because he's always hunted the ball at ground level, I don't believe he's gone for as many marks as he should. But when he does decide to go for them, he has the ability to take absolute hovers. Once he starts to believe in himself, he can definitely have the ability to take eight to nine marks a game."

NEWS: Naitanui has been named chief ambassador of AFL Multicultural Round. Naitanui is going from strength to strength on and off the field with a highlight reel far to long for a 22 year old. He recently discussed the honour of being an ambassador saying "It's a great way to get involved in the game if you've got someone to learn from. I originally got involved in footy by kicking the ball around my street with my neighbours, who happened to be Chris Yarran and Michael Walters, who have both obviously gone on to play great footy. Picking up a footy might seem a bit foreign to kids from multicultural backgrounds. So if I can help and encourage them to get involved in such a great game, and they end up loving it, then that's a great outcome."
