| NEWS: Richmond Elite Performance Manager Matt Hornsby said "Nathan returned to the specialist today (Tuesday) and he was really pleased with the progression he's made. The initial phase is about the wound management and minimising the risk of infection, and all of those things have been positive. He has started some light activity with his upper body and core strength work, so he'll continue to focus on that. He's also doing some specific work with the coaches to fill in his time." | ||||

| NEWS: Foley has injured the tendon on his heel during a running drill and will go in for season ending surgery. Richmond's elite performance manager Matthew Hornsby told richmondfc.com.au "He was actually running at sub-maximal pace and was doing a very similar session to what he completed on Saturday, which he pulled up really well from. Repeating that session today he, unfortunately, had an incident. We've been really cautious and conservative with him, because of his history, so it's really unfortunate for him. "He'll have surgery to repair the tendon, which means he won't play for the remainder of 2012, but we know there'll be no problems to be ready to go for the start of 2013." | ||||

| NEWS: Foley has been suffering bone bruising in his heel, sustained against St Kilda in Round 10. Richmond Coach Damian Hardwick recently said "He (Foley) has been an enormous loss obviously these last two games for us so we are hoping he can make his way through Thursday training." We suggest Foley is probable for Round 14. | ||||
