NEWS: Leigh Matthews told the AFL Game Day program on Channel 7 "He (Clark) had a good year in the ruck in 2009 but he's never looked more than an average key position player." He also suggested the 4 year contract for more than $2 million was too much.

NEWS: Clark is well on his way to paying Melbourne back for all the money they have thrown at him to play. He was excellent on the weekend in the opening round of the NAB Cup. He will be quite a handful as a key position forward for Melbourne this year.
| ||||
NEWS: Mark Neeld's has indicated, Clark has had success with Brisbane as a Ruck option but he has been brought into the Melbourne Demon's side to be a key position forward. If you saw him out at training last week you wouldn't argue either. He looked spectacular, flying at the ball and taking some strong pack marks. Melbourne have not had a strong marking forward in a long time and they are very excited.
| ||||
NEWS: A clear indication of the importance this man is to Melbourne's success. The Key Forward has made quite an impression in only 4 months with the club.
| ||||
NEWS: He will not be playing in the Ruck. He is a Key Position Forward. Mark Neeld pointed out that the papers are showing Clark as a Ruck but he is a Key Forward. This is not new information. We think most were aware that Clark has been brought in for this reason and Mark Jamar will hold down the Ruck position.

NEWS: No questions about it. Mitch Clark was exactly what Fremantle needed for 2012 and beyond. A key forward to support Pavlich & Sandilands up forward. Unfortunately another player entered the fold in the Melbourne Demons. They put to him more money than he could refuse and quickly forgot about his homesickness to return to Western Australia.
| ||||
NEWS: It is his home town and seems likely he will be heading there for 2012 onwards. Fremantle need a key forward to support Pavlich and this would be an ideal signing. Fremantle will be a dangerous side next season when they get all the pieces back form injury.
