NEWS: Brown was allegedly involved in an off the play incident in the WAFL over the weekend, in which a player walked away with a broken jaw. South Fremantle Bulldogs president Haydn Raitt suggested "the young kid is going to be out for 12 weeks. He has got depressed fractures of the cheek." The WAFL are completing an investigation on the issue.

NEWS: Brown is a backup Key Defender for the Eagles. He actually played in the first 4 games of last season before being struck down with a thumb injury that put him on the bench for a long time. Brown has not been sighted in pre-season NAB Cup action. When he has played he has stood out for his strength and athletic ability. Cash Cow Potential: Key defenders are not cash cows.
