Richardson stands up in wet - Thu 21/7, 11:30PM
NEWS: Matthew Richardson kicked only two goals off his own boot and missed two other shots in round 15 against the Bombers, but he was instrumental in several others as he pulled in nine marks and had 14 disposals. Richardson has a habit of being up and down, but his list of games in 2005 so far contain only two that could be described as shockers. He is worth keeping in your fantasy team every week.

Four for starved Richardson - Fri 15/7, 5:00PM
NEWS: Matthew Richardson only got seven chances to get the ball in round 13 against Adelaide, and managed to kick four goals. For the rest of the night, the Tigers midfielders either couldn't get the ball or couldn't deliver it to him in space. Richardson lives or dies on his midfield delivery, and in the Tigers' last three games it has not been at all good - not coincidentally, Richmond has lost three straight. Richo still provides fantasy value even in these bad games, however.

Not quite enough for Richardson - Thu 23/6, 11:00PM
NEWS: Matthew Richardson booted five goals from 13 possessions and eight marks in the round 11 loss to West Coast, but he was seen gesticulating wildly at his midfielders to get the ball to him more speedily. Richo wasn't the only one, with 30,000+ Tigers fans also voicing that opinion at times. It was still a satisfactory outing for the forward who defines fantasy unpredictability.

Richardson in the thick of it - Thu 19/5, 10:00PM
NEWS: With the ball pinging in with more frequency than US bombs in Iraq, Matthew Richardson had plenty of it in round 7 against Carlton. He ended with 4.3 in front of goals from 17 possessions and nine marks. Apart from one blip in round 5, Richardson has had a signature year in fantasy terms. Whiel Richmond is up and flying, Richo will keep delivering the points.

Richo struggles - Sun 20/2, 2:22AM
NEWS: Matthew Richardson's game against Collingwood in the Tigers' Wizard Cup opening round loss was not great: 10 kicks, five marks and one goal.  He will have better games this season, as he looks to have beefed up considerably. Delivery from the midfield will also be better than he received against the Pies.
