Cold Charman will need charm - Sat 9/4, 7:05PM
NEWS: Jamie Charman settled into his new #2 ruckman role behind Dylan McLaren with 12 hit-outs and only 5 possessions, but more importantly he cleaned up Nick Riewoldt in a bump that may attract the attention of the AFL judiciary. Charman does not look like he will replicate the solid numbers of 2004 on this form. However, Leigh Matthews-coached ruckmen have a history of injury from the bashing and crashing he expects of them, so Charman might prove valuable if McLaren goes down.
