NEWS: Wojcinski told geelongcats.com.au "I'd like to thank all the supporters and the club. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It's been a great time.I've been lucky enough to play with great players at the club. I will miss playing with such a great team and the camaraderie and conversation with the boys. It's been so much fun playing here. But I think it is the right time. The body has struggled a bit this year and I think it is the right time to go out."

Wojcinski probable to play Round 11ESN - Tue 5/6, 5:48PM
NEWS: Wojcinski is expected to come straight back into the Geelong side after serving his suspension with the VFL. He will will likely be needed to cover Carlton's speed. Geelong coach Chris Scott said at Simonds Stadium on Tuesday morning "We still think we've got defenders capable of covering their small forwards, although it's no easy task. But he would add to the group of players that we could have to cover them. If he plays there's no guarantee he'd even play in defence, but he would certainly help our overall speed."

Wojcinski found guilty of rough conductESN - Wed 9/5, 9:54AM
NEWS: As expected, Wojcinski has been found guilty of Rough Conduct, after breaking young up and coming star Jack Viney's jaw in the VFL on the weekend, with a high hip and shoulder. Geelong football manager Neil Balme said "We were keen to play him [in the senior team], but he thought, ironically, one more week in the VFL would help him. He would certainly have played this week if he had have been available, there's no doubt about that." Wojcinski will not be available to play AFL or VFL until Round 11.

NEWS: Geelong VFL captain Troy Selwood said "He was back to his old self Wojo, we got him up on the wing more this week and we were able to get the ball in to his hands and let him run and carry. Whether he needs maybe one more week or whether Scotty's [coach Chris Scott] keen to get him back in [to the AFL side] this week I'm not too sure, but it was the Wojo of old."

Injured Wojcinski returned to VFL last weekendESN - Tue 24/4, 9:09AM
NEWS: Wojcinski has been hampered over pre-season by a foot injury and recently said "It's mainly the swelling of the plantar fascia that's a bit sore under the heel, so you feel it every step you take. It is still hanging around a little bit but I am confident it's strong enough to play footy on. Tonight it felt pretty good out there, not 100%, but good and it's getting better every week. Now is the time for me to get a bit of fitness in the lungs and the legs, and hopefully push back up into the seniors soon".
