| NEWS: The press have built up Menzel as a trade target for the Adelaide Crows suggesting Menzel is suffering homesickness and could fit in with a trade for Patrick Dangerfield at the end of the year. Menzel has recently squashed these speculations saying "I guess the media's got to write something. There's always going to be rumours and things come up, and I was well aware that if I leave my contract to the end of the year then that would be the case. But at the same time I haven't said I'm going to leave it to the end of the year either, I just want to get the knee right and then I'm very happy to do negotiations as well. I can't see there being a lot of truth to it (trade speculation), to tell you the truth." | ||||
