You have completely flipped your wig. Seven rookies in the mids. Thats a great big WTF! And its not as if the rest of your side has benefited from it either. My defence is only slightly weaker than yours, I have an all premium ruck and forwards and 4 mid premiums in Bartel, Selwood, Mitchell and Ball before I have my rookies. Redo my man!

only one premium mid? im sorry you need at least two premium mids in my opinion to balance the rookies cause you could pick up an injury or they may not be picked.

The only top ten draft pick that played 22 games last year was Daniel Rich and the only draft pick that didn't play at all from that draft was Phil Davis who was picked at 10. So don't rely on first round picks you may get burnt by them later in the year

Ive got a similar team, though get rid of Morabito and put Ablett or swan and get rid of lockyer for a rookie like gumbleton and start rockliff, i say anyway to risky starting 5 rookie mids i would just start 4

no scully? Morabito no good for sc or dt i think one to many rookies as well you may struggle with so many young and unreliable players other than that and Lockyer ... it all seems ok to me

it is very risky because what happens round 2 when 2 of them get dropped and 2 others fall victim to an injury. Who are you going to trade someone worth 90k for? Don't get me wrong i really like this theory, in fact i'm going with this theory this year, but i have decided on only having 3 on field. 5, to put it simply is just to risky, it means that you have all the ones that appear good to start with so when they get dropped or injured you have no one to trade them for. This is only my opinion tho.

Probably one or two too many. Get rid of Morabito, will be a gun in a few years but not just yet. I would make sure you get on Sam Mitchell and Masten will be a break out. (Eagles never make mistakes with their top picks)

Downgrades should be made to fit Hall in. Ziebell and Waters are also options though i wouldnt/cant suggest who I would be leaving out.

Almost exactly the same as the team I posted a couple of days ago, except I was conservative and played a 6 rookie midfield and chose one or two different fwds and backs.  But very similar choices.

I think this is a very good year to take a risk on this kind of strategy and ignore the people oogly-boogling about too many rookies starting and such.

I'd love to see the side of the guy who claimed to have a "only slightly weaker" defence than that, all premium rucks and forwards and Bartel, Mitchell, Ball and Selwood in mid because seriously dude, we all have the same salary cap.
