you should only have 1 rookie midfielder and the 5th player should be either cotchin, masten, swift, ebert, mcveigh or armitage

For those thinking of 3 or 4 it looks as if 1-2 might be the go...

3 rookies for me. Saves me having to play any more rookies in the fwd's or back's. I would much rather stock up on rookies in the mids than trying to play 1 or 2 rookies in fwd's or backs. This years rookies is a lot different to previous years, there's such a wide selection.

I have only got 2 rookies starting and they are both in the mids, I think it really depends if you want players like Goddard, Swan and Ablett mainly Swan and Ablett

most people i have seen with Ablett or Swan have 3 rookies

You have to load up on the rookie mids more than ever this year as there is no real standout talent in either the forwards or backs. Fair enough your scores might be low at the start of the season but come finals time just you wait and see.

3 rookies at the moment. Got a spare 100k so could probably squeeze mcveigh instead of scully. The rookie mids are just so good this year that I am prepared to risk it. Having the most trouble for last bench mid spot...

I've got Trengove, Scully, Martin, Barlow...and deciding on last spot out of either banner or bastinac...thoughts? Maybe even connors, but i dont really want 150k sitting on bench.
