What does everyone this of running Seaby and Hille in the rucks and thus boosting the rest of your team considerable?
Please also list the negatives and positives of both players.
Looking forward to this response!
Thanks!

It's different rhyatt
Not sure on either
are you looking at a permament arrangement here or trading up ?
Could turn out to be a master stroke or a nightmare
Keep an eye on their last P/M this weekend

I dont know much about Seaby. Are you considering Ottens? I reckon ill be putting him in before Hille.

Risky..neither of them are a LOCK as such...at the moment. You really want 1 of them with a premium..

I'd say no Hille as he will take time to get back into the flow of things and will play up forward for large periods of time and considering you have no patience as evidenced by you being unable to wait more than 10 minutes for a reply.
Ottens and NicNat have the highest reward for the risk, but are also the riskiest to pick.

I reckon you're better the other way round. Get 2 'lock' ruckmen to begin with, and don't worry about it for the rest of the year. If one of them fails, it is easy to trade them, where if Seaby or Hille fail, it is much harder to trade.

yer i will be looking to upgrade to premium ruck asap. I like the fact that none of you hate the idea so it could be something different that could get me ahead of the crowd...
I keep seeing ppl with seaby or hille in there team alongside premium ruck but I would rather another premium mid or def and take the risk with both hille and seaby.
Your right gercoo.. i have no patience. thanks for your comments to far

Just grab 2 premiums and leave the rucks alone for the rest of the year. Thats what i'm doing.

Seaby is an interesting one. He has always played second fiddle to Cox and isnt that bad a player. He finally has a chance to be the #1 ruckman and is only 26. Ruckman take a lot longer to develop, I think Seaby can step it up this year. I think he can push an average somewhere in the range of 65 - 75ish.
His price point makes him very attractive - $226,700

yeah seaby and hille both look good. seaby in his prime and is pretty veratile as a ruck (goes up forward). hille is coming back from knee reco and could take a while to get back to match fitness against top tier teams ( i don't look into nab matches when coming back from injury. all teams plays alot of rookies).
i lock in the rucks from the start this year. rucks take a while to become cash cows so might be waiting until about half season to get some decent cash from them.

All comes down to the old risk reward theory, you're taking a big risk hille is coming back from a knee and seaby is not yet proven.

Dont forget the swans apparently are paying mumford 1 million a season for 3 yrs so it is very risky especially when seaby is not necessarily going to be no.1 and hille is coming back from a knee injury, and subsequently may not ruck the first half of year, or even at all so he will have to work a lot harder to get points instead of being no.1 ruckman getting 30 - 40 points from hitouts a week.
