I just posted the long lists for melb and Hawks. They look as bad (long) as the Bombers did during the last couple years!

Prospector_1,
I'd be more worried about Essendons list and culture, What sort of dud is Michael Hurley stunning first season and goes up flowers up in off season real dedication to the jumper, no forward line apart from a ex hawk, injury prone midfielders, forwards and backmen, to many to mention, only good thing bout Ess is they got M.williams from the hawks.
As for the Hawks  For starters Trent Croad is retired, Max bailey will play in 2010, Stokes and whitecross are more fringe players and would to make the hawks best 22, Injuries are stock standard for all clubs, Every season, tell me a which club and when, who has gone through a season with no injuries??
Hawks  have learned from last year regarding injuries and may not start well but you can bank on them finishing strongly and making finals. They lacked the run from less known players such as Young, Rioli etc.
Add s. Burgoyne, J.gibson to mix to release Hodgy to anywhere we want to play him for the first time ever!! Things are a lot more positive and exciting  down at waverley than what people think!!

Nah, fair enough :)

I'd actually love to see a Carlton-Collingwood final. As long as the Pies don't lose.

Skipper can be added to the sad list now as he will be out for 6 - 8 weeks with a hamstring injury.
