FREO for top 4 with Lions v Dockers GF how does that grab ya. If Sandilands can stay fit and players like Morabito and Barlow can grab their opportunities and the legend that is Pav I feel they are red hot chance for top 4 its a hard place to travel to so if they can get on a roll who knows what they are capable of

going to be hard for them to crack the top 8 with that list. only starting doing proper recruiting the year before last. too many heartbreakers there too :'(. hate that since they are one of my favourite teams.

:o must be something in the water to think like that.

They will do well to lift into the top half of the bottom 8, cant expect much more. Finally on the right track though; they'll want to keep up the rapid development of their youngsters in order to be real challengers while Pavlich and Sandilands are still playing. Winning away from home, and winning back to back games will still be difficult for the young squad. I think their list is probably stronger than their win/loss from last year would suggest.

1% chance of top 8

I believe that Freo will fall anywhere between 7th - 12th.  I beleive the race for the last couple of spots in the 8 will be very hotly contested.

Definitely not top 4 unless the youngsters have improved greater than what we have seen so far (which has been a very good improvemnt)

Whilst, I think Freo is finally heading in the right direction with developing youngsters, I'm not convinced that they are a top 8 side this year. Time will tell of course, but they need to get games in their young players and keep their best players injury free. If they keep the core of this current team then I think maybe next year they'll crack the top 8.

If you only remember one thing, remember this.

I was wondering if Weagle of Freo supporters contribute to these post. Judging by the number and quality of these posts, it confirms my thoughts.

Freo or WC top 8, I guess there is not much to discuss over West.

Always had a soft spot for the Eagles, but the Dockers never seem to have (enough) players committed to the cause.

Fremantle as a whole did well so for us now that we are second on the table is to make good on the start we have made and get this team to gel.

We still have to play the Bombers Saints, Cats and Bulldogs inside the next 4 rounds i believe.

If barlow, palmer, ibbotson, suban, deboer crowley, haselby and morabito form the nucleus of the midfield to work with Sandilands and stay injury free we might do well this year.
