The 2010 edition of the Fanplanner is online now, with the best estimates I can make for prices and positions for next year. It's a moving target, of course, so expect lots of changes over the course of the off-season as teams lists go up and down, and new facts come to hand. I have been generous in including some retiring and all delisted players who might return for another club.

http://www.fanfooty.com.au/planteam.php

The new DT magic number I am using is 4648 (increase of 4.75%), and the new DT salary cap is $7,962,500 (increase of 3.3%).

Here is a list of the player positional changes I have projected.

Brendon Goddard: BAC to CTR
Adam Goodes: CTR to FWD/CTR
Ryan O'Keefe: FWD to FWD/CTR
Tarkyn Lockyer: BAC/CTR to FWD
Matthew Pavlich: FWD to CTR/FWD
Simon Goodwin: FWD/CTR to BAC/CTR
Aaron Davey: FWD to CTR
Quinten Lynch: FWD to FWD/RUC

Ben McGlynn: FWD/CTR to CTR
Jared Brennan: FWD/CTR to FWD/RUC
James Kelly: CTR to CTR/BAC
Chris Knights: CTR to FWD
Patrick Ryder: BAC to RUC/BAC
Andrew Lovett: FWD/CTR to CTR
David Mundy: BAC to BAC/CTR
Leigh Adams: CTR to FWD
Cyril Rioli: FWD to FWD/CTR
Jarrod Harbrow: FWD to BAC
Michael Johnson: BAC to BAC/FWD
Matthew Kreuzer: RUC to RUC/FWD
Jason Blake: BAC/RUC to BAC
Ashley McGrath: FWD/BAC to BAC
Justin Koschitzke: FWD/RUC to FWD
Michael Hurley: BAC to BAC/FWD
Josh Gibson: BAC to BAC/CTR
Andy Otten: CTR to BAC
Garry Moss: CTR to CTR/FWD
Troy Simmonds: RUC to RUC/FWD
Nathan Krakouer: FWD to BAC

Great stuff... But remember, the All Aus selectors think Dane Swan is a forward - so clearly he should move to CTR/FWD lol

Love your work mate.

Any chance you can put "Misc Rookie" in until the drafts just so we can get a better fill. Or even put in a mock draft situation.

The DT pre-seasons just keep getting longer. There is no relief from this great game ;)

I'd be a happy man if DT followed All-Australian and made Swan a FWD...

How do you categorise your Premium/Mid/Cheap/Rookie?

How do you categorise your Premium/Mid/Cheap/Rookie?

Good question. Here are the price cutoffs for the premium and mid-price bands - rookies are 90700 and 94200 or below respectively. In other words, the first number is the price above which a player is premium, and if they're between the two numbers they're mid-price, and if they're below the second number but still above rookie price then they're a cheapie.

Dream Team
BAC: 375000, 200000
CTR: 440000, 220000
RUC: 380000, 200000
FWD: 400000, 200000

Super Coach
BAC: 475000, 250000
CTR: 480000, 200000
RUC: 400000, 200000
FWD; 455000, 220000

Good stuff m0nty Now I'll make my '10 team... Even though I'm starting now next year I'll probably still be changing it 5 minutes before Richmond v. Carlton
