Last night at 9pm aest was my league's live draft and here is what i came up with...its also my first time doing Premium, its a good idea i think!

Hey, thanks damoc.

I started with pick number 9. And i didnt realise until i checked the help section that u only required 1 ruckman. But hey, picking up 2 isnt such a bad thing because now there is someone else in my league without a decent ruckman.

I went in with the strategy to bolster the rucks first and then back and forwards at the same time. Finished off with the midfielders as there are so many who can score you 100's. And made sure i had 22 blokes that are actually playing and no dohnuts. Tell me how you go when youve finished ur draft damoc.

Very solid damoc. Good choice pickin Cox first...although lets hope the injury rumors arent so true. But i see youve got nicnat aswell for alittle insurance if that does happen. Nice forward line when roberto comes back from injury aswell.

Similar to mine - in that you've focused on KPPs (and forwards it seems) ahead of the midfield.

Actually, do you think the midfield is a little light? C. Cornes is the only (current) genuine Premium among those.

nice work. u can switch chad to the backs by trading out a defender and trading out a mid and putting him in the backs. all the good mids r probably gone but... i think the backs/fwd stacking has to occur as there is plenty of mids avialble who can get 85-100 as long as u have a clear captains choice

How? Well, I wasn't going to voice my opinion, but I reckon a few coaches didn't show up to the draft, or were just plain stupid recruiters.

Bets on the latter - they all plunged into the midfield for the first three/four rounds and Undecided was able to gather a top-class forwardline together in the meantime.

Mate you are definantly right, the first 3 or 4 rounds many of the teams were jumpin into the premium midfielders and not worrying about any other positions, i was able to grab moloney as nearly my last pick who averages over 90!!

During when they were worried about grabbing the winderlichs, goodes etc.. I was able to take the oppurtunity to grab really dominante fowards and a couple of backs, leaving my midfield to last (apart from K Cornes) needed a strong captain.

Plenty of 1600-1700 scores. The team who focused solely on a heavy midfield scored 1400.
