Leon played pretty well I thought.
he only had a handful of possessions and only kicked one goal. No impact on the game IMO |

He might have had some implied pressure but 2 tackles 6 touches and 1 goal isn't nearly enough.

Doubt that about Stanley or Armitage. Geary has been a solid contributor but is on the fringes. Not sure if he would fit into the GF plans unless of injury.

Good. Just about all of those would've gotten weeks in regular season.
...and no one cares. No one feels hard done by, no one was injured and there is no argument about interpretation of very loosely written laws of the game. Why can't we have this sort of common sense and sanity every round. It is a physical game. Shower happens. |

McEvoy in, Gardiner out for the Saints.
Emergencies
Magpies: McCarthy, Lockyer, Prestigiacomo
Saints: Stanley, Armitage, Geary
Leon Davis and Michael Gardiner have both played in 3 grand finals for no medal. Strangely, one of them will get one after Saturday and not play!
