One that would have the fruit must climb the tree

This team I personally saw dis-embowell one of the combatants in the 2010 GF, when they beat St Kilda at Etihad rnd 18.
However I can't help but think without certainty on their coaching direction that it leaves uncertainty across the board.
Movement already out of the hangar at Bomberland and a busy flight schedule ahead may see them struggle to lift off the tarmac.

Somewhere in the bottom nine. I think we will finish around the same position but no doubt we'll have less floggings and improve as a club while the youngsters gain valuable experience.
Hopefully a productive year propelling us to a premiership 2015/16

I reckon we would be pushing for 9th maybe. Doubt it but you never know.

Depends on how we recruit during trade week.

Chocco = 8th to 10th

Hird = 11th to 14th

Agree with that but their not the only 2 people with a chance of getting the job... Hird is no chance.

I wish you were right, but I heard today that he said he would coach, but only if they had some good assistants under him, for instance, bomber... So, I believe the bombers will through everything at that setup. Don't think its right though!!

Can you feel the heat?

geez hird would be amazing! But highly unlikely. If choco gets the job (which would be great IMO) then I can see essendon hanging just outside the eight. We need a more defensive game plan, to support our great backline.

Hird wouldn't be amazing. Good for supporters, because they like him, but he would not be the best coach ...

110% agree. He is good analytically, but he has no experience at coaching...

Yeah, what good is a coach who knows what is going wrong but can't fix it.

Chocco or Richardson coach and Hird assistant coach. Simple as that right?

They'll announce Dean Laidley as caretaker coach for 2011, with Mark Thompson to take over from 2012
