Moderation guidelines - Please Read

I hope that posting these guidelines improves transparency regarding moderation on the DT & SC Boards at FanFooty.
 
What threads do I move, and where?

If I see a full team listed, I think it should be in the "Rate my Team" section.

I think this can keep the clog down in the Players & Trades sections.
 
I think it can also be helpful for Fantasy Coaches, as they can then use ONE thread in the "Rate my Team" section to discuss all their hassles and possible trades right through the season. This thread can also be a learning tool when reviewing the year and thinking about what you do and don't want to do next year. I usually ask if it's OK to move a post or thread there.
 
If I see specific player info, and specific trades, I think it should be in the "Players & Trades" section.

When posting in the  "Players & Trades" section, coaches should look through the last 3 pages of posts to see if the players they want to discuss already have threads. Chances are at least one of them does. If you think about your idea, you can probably find a way to fit it into such an existing thread. If a post looks like it will still make sense in an existing thread, I will merge it to there. I'm not sure that there is any facility in the mod. tools to notify of such merges.
 
If a post is about how and when to use trades, how to choose a team, or about prices and BEs in general, I think it should be in the "Strategy" section.

If a post is about fantasy in general, I think it should be on the main board. These posts include rankings, scores, weekly captains, what ifs for 17 and 18 tems etc etc.
 
I can't move or merge threads out of or into the DT & SC boards. That's m0nty's privilege alone.
 
I will delete flames, abusive posts, and sometimes entire threads that move towards abuse or bullying. I cannot block or ban people from the site.
 
I will notify m0nty of repeat offenders. m0nty has been known to ban coaches from entry to the site for offences such as abuse, posting of false information, trolling etc.
