Lamb roves at half forward and gives to Graham who passes to O’Brien 45m out in the corridor. O’Brien shanks it OOTF. (Q1 7:39)
Zaharakis goes short to McKenna 45m out on a slight angle after the Blues fumble the ball away at half back. The Irishman boots the first Bomber goal. (Q1 10:09)
McDonald-Tipungwuti marks on the wing and gets a 50m penalty for a bunch of Blues encroaching, he shoots from near the hotspot and misses. (Q1 11:55)
Mutch marks the kick-in at half forward for Essendon and goes to McKernan deep in the pocket 30m out. Smack goes bang right through the hi-diddle-diddle! (Q1 13:09)

Hurley overcommits on the wing and fails to spoil Graham who is off, his long ball goes to Charlie Curnow 45m out on the flank who strokes through another one for Carlton! (Q3 26:30)
Parish marks 45m out on a slight angle but misses, which means an off-the-ball free against Lamb wasn’t punished. (Q3 28:17)
Zarahakis passes to Smith 30m out on the boundary, he plays on but shanks for no score. (Q3 28:51)
McKernan flies over a pack 15m out on a slight angle to clunk a mark in impressive style for the first goal of Q4. (Q4 0:59)
Dow roves on the HFF at speed, runs around the boundary then gives inside to McKay who misses on the turn from 20m. (Q4 2:35)
McKernan is the key link in a chain through traffic from the wing that ends with Fantasia giving McDonald-Tipungwuti a Joe the Goose special. Dons back in front! (Q4 4:59)

Garlett kicks inside 50 after the next centre bounce, Lamb draws a contact free playing in front of Hurley just outside the hotspot and just avoids the right goalpost for a goal. (Q4 8:40)
Fisher catches Myers HTB 50m out on a slight angle, but plays on to O’Brien who shoots OOTF from the HFF. (Q4 10:15)
Kerridge beats Goddard to mark a Lamb kick 20m out on a slight angle for another one for the Blues. (Q4 13:15)
Heppell feeds Fantasia in space at half forward after the next centre bounce, Fantasia rams through the goal from 50m on a slight angle! (Q4 14:59)
Smith catches Cripps HTB at the next centre bounce, eventually Parish roves and misses in the FP. (Q4 16:13)
Ed Curnow roves a stoppage in the pocket and rolls through a big goal! (Q4 18:27)

Stringer shoots OOTF, the crowd gives him some Bronx cheers and he starts a mini-melee. That’s where Essendon is at. (Q4 28:07)
