I would go with Bartel (vs Richmond) or take a punt on Brown (vs Kangaroos at Gabba). Bartel is the more reliable option, I reckon.

The Chad could also be good but they’re playing Adelaide so it’s a bit less certain.

if tredrea doesnt come up then chad may play forward and maybe stand rutten if he comes up. although he does save his best for showdowns

Thoughts on what to do with pendlebury. I have 3 trades and 35K in the bank but no reserve centres (muston and browne)and playing the top ranked guy in my league with a top 4 spot secure. Should i trade him or sacrifice this week and maybe the first round of finals in the hope that pendles will pull thru for week 2 of the finals. Cheers in advance.

Brennan has plagued me all year and when I don’t play him he has a big score. I will bench him this week - guaranteed to get another 100 then for sure.

I really dislike Brennan he freaked it at the start of the year then it all went downhill to last week i only sold him and cut my losses a few weeks ago with him and it really annoys me now that he finally does something, i am prediciting a few poor games now.

Rossi - I would be looking at trading Selwood considering he’s over $350k now and you have 6 trades left. Cousins looks fit and he’s getting enough of the ball. Depending on this weeks score he might dip once he gets past his 140 score, but he looks like scoring more consistantly than Selwood. Even if Selwood scores big this week he’s not going to move much because of his high BE.

I think you’re all being a bit hard on Brennan. You’ve gotta look at the form his in now which is an average of 93 over the last 5 weeks. Bartel’s average over the last 5 weeks is 83 so if you’ve got Brennan, keep him in your side… you could do a lot worse.

Blozza - The problem with Brennan is he’s super inconsistant, even 2 weeks ago. At quarter time he was on 0, then half time he was on 10, three quarter time he was on about 30 and then he had a massive last quater which took him up to 85 and made him look reasonable.

Just a word of advice on Joel Selwood in Round 9 i sold him for $251,800 and he got dropped that week or injured didnt play till Round 12 and i thought i got MAX out of him now he’s hit 351,300 so u never know with him but u have to say now he surely has hit MAX???

assassin/pez derspencer - i have seen sean keneally play and he’s quite the talent. definately a chance in 08. slightly awkward kicking style, gill style. but he’s from elizabeth, considered locally a brauler. got a nose for leather, but i think he’ll struggle with the judiciary system. likes boys i’ve heard!

sydney - carazzo is a backliner. why get him in the midfield if he’s available in the backline. scotland is down on last years form, could be tanking like carlton, who knows what bartel is doing. my guess bartel isn’t capable of running out a full season with an ave well over 100ppg just like cam bruce last year who couldn’t do it. bodies basically get tired

damo - get lade, he is a gun outta form. with port on a high he will lift. too smart, can’t break him any more, kicks goals, heaps of hit outs, especially with the bogan back. lade is yr man. everitt doesn’t know what he’s doin let alone us try and work him out?

All this Sandilands talk! You’ve got to trade him for Simmonds if you’ve got no cash. At 217k he is a bargain and the equal of anyone under 270k. He’s been injured and he is definitely regaining fitness

hirdy, i would look at gram becuase he does usually score at least 80 but form has been down recently, depends on the saints run home..i would look at waters as he does get a few posses’ and short kicks and marks in the backline..birchall is good but the smokey might be gilbert, he’s a pretty good second rate backline player whose reasonably priced and does run through the midfield! sorry i couldn’t narrow it down, but i would be considering those 4!

Looking at trading out Beau Waters for Carrazzo this week. Also considering dumping Foley for Swan and then next week ditching Hudson for Big Cox. Would require the use of a 4th trade to free up cash and leave me with 2 trades left over.

cobra, are you in the top4? i personally want 1 trade left per final that I play so im intending to go into the finals with 3-4 trades remaining and depending on injuries/upgrades making changes from there.. if you currently have 6 trades left i see no harm in freeing up cash and making an upgrade this week

cobra: i would definitely use 2 trades this week that set you up for the finals series and that will leave you with 4 left for finals - you can then assess your options after this weekends results

Who do you think is better out of Jace Bode and Michael Jamison? Both are listed to debut this week and both are $69600.

I’d probably go with Jamison as Carlton are really testing out all their young players at the moment and don’t want to win another game. I’ve never seen either player but that would be my choice. I don’t think it would matter all that much this late in the season though, unless you were forced to play one of them.

chad cornes will kill it in the derby. always plays well against crows and will be likely to go forward a little bit with no tredrea and no rutten…
